Each of our doors comes with a randomly selected story telling you a little bit about the magical friend that lives behind your door as well as their name. The story is printed on sturdy card stock measuring 3 1/2 x 5"and is adorned with a ribbon. Here are some sample stories:
Elizabeth the fairy was born many years ago in County Waterford on May 19th. She is one of the several fairies that works at the mill where pixie dust is made. The formula is top secret and must be carefully mixed so that not even one batch is made wrong. She is smart and patient both excellent traits for a pixie dust mixer. She enjoys her work and even comes home with some of it on her shoes and in her hair.
Captain Roy is a fairy pirate, who stowed away in a dusty boot on a ship bound for the New World. He had intended to go to Nantucket to tend the maple trees, but after filling his lungs with salty sea air, he could not settle for flitting around the forest. He wears a purple bandana, has a curly mustache and is often heard singing loudly and dancing a silly jig. Although he would never tell a soul, his birthday is February 14th, Valentine's Day.
Endora, the pixie, was born many years ago in the county of Cork on May 17tth, a sparkly, sunny day. She is very sassy and mischievous and has been known to sneak away with pretty shoes that are left out. She likes to fly low over the sparkles on the Loch on sunny days and hardly ever gets up before lunch. She is fun and flirty, but watch out for your shoes…

We hope you enjoy your new scrapbook kit!
If you are an avid scrapbooker, then you know what to do.
We hope you will find plenty of fun and unique items in this kit to fill your album!
Feel free to add from your stash if you like.
Add rub-ons or ink or any of your other favorites.
If you are new to scrapbooking and would like a little boost to your creativity,
Try some of these easy tips:
1. Come up with an overall theme for the album. For example: holidays,
friends, family, or an event. Maybe even one all about you!!
2. Create a simple formula that can be repeated on every page. You
might try to use the included patterned and solid papers to create a template
for color blocking, like rectangles or squares of color. The rule of thirds is
always a great place to start. Try 1/3 patterned paper and then a small strip
of another piece to cover the seam. If you cut most of your patterned papers
into thirds you will have enough for each page to have a section of pattern to
play off the already colored background. This will make creating the
backgrounds for each layout less stressful and help to unify the album.
Then you can relax and have fun adding your photos and embellishments!
3 .Pick out some great photos. You will probably need to crop them, or
if you are lucky enough to have a digital camera and computer than you can
print them out in any size you like.
4. Try laying out the pages and all the backgrounds first, then
add your photos and embellishments. If you choose to use the fronts
and the backs keep in mind which pages will be seen at the same time.
5. When papering the album covers, try using Mod-podge, or
even a light coat of white glue, to adhere the paper. It will take
more abuse then the rest of the album. And don’t sweat the corners, when
the glue is dry, just sand off the extra paper with some sandpaper, a sanding
block or even a nail file!!!
6. Use your favorite adhesive to attach everything else. Try using
staples for a fun and easy attachment method, just be aware of whatever
may be on the other side of your layout. No staples through anyones nose,
OK? The same goes with your brads, so be careful.
7. All the items in the kit are specially designed to go together so take
advantage of that and try to include a little of everything on each page, some
metal, some ribbon and fun paper shapes. Let some of your tabs or ribbons
extend off the page a little for a fun and funky look. Be sure to save some
ribbon to decorate your album rings!
8. Feel free to add or subtract pages if you like. Do not feel locked
into any certain number.
9. When composing your page, try to make it balanced, but always
remember the focus should be on your great photos and do not
sweat too much over the rest.
10. Relax and enjoy putting your album together.
